This page explains, in plain language, what happens to the information you send us through this website.
What the contact form collects
The contact form asks for your name, your email address, and a message. If you choose to include a phone number, we collect that too. We only use this information to reply to you and to arrange a consultation if that is what you are asking about.
Please don't send health details
The form is not a secure or confidential channel, and it is not part of your clinical record. Please don't use it to share personal health information — diagnoses, medications, treatment history, or detailed accounts of what you are going through. A sentence about what you are looking for is enough. Anything more can be discussed in a consultation or a session, where it is properly protected.
The form is also not for emergencies. If you are in crisis or concerned for your safety, call 911 or contact 9-8-8 (Suicide Crisis Helpline).
How enquiries are stored and who reads them
Messages sent through the form are delivered to the clinic's email through a form-handling service (Formspree), which stores a copy of the submission on its servers. Enquiries are read by the Clinic Manager and, when relevant, shared with the therapist who is best placed to respond. No one else at the clinic has access.
We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to respond and to keep a basic record of contact. Messages that don't lead to an appointment are deleted periodically.
Third-party services
Booking and client accounts are handled by Owl Practice, a Canadian practice-management platform. When you book a consultation or log in as a current client, you are on their site and their privacy terms apply to the information you enter there.
The website may use basic analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they read. This is aggregate traffic information — page views, approximate location, device type — and is not used to identify you or connected to anything you tell us in a session.
Asking us to delete your information
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold from a website enquiry, correct it, or delete it. Email office@relationship-recovery.com or call (647) 498-8474 and we will take care of it. Clinical records for people who have attended sessions are governed by separate professional and legal requirements, and we will explain how those apply if you ask.
